DEMOCRATIC LABOUR PARTY

At a meeting held in the Wesley Hall, South Dunedin, for the purpose of forming a Dunedin South branch of the New Zealand Democratic Labour Party, the following were elected te office: —President, Mr L. Frame; vicepresident, Mr D. Boreham; hon. secretary, Mr W. Yemen; Executive Committee —Messrs J. Jamieson, N. Bell, S. A. M'Kenzie, F. Greenhaulgh, Dj Patrick, and Smellie. At a further meeting. Miss J. Harris was added t<» the executive. As trustees, Mr J* Jamieson and the secretary were appointed. The newly-formed met last} evening to discuss the tentative constitution of the party, and many controversial points were brought forward and well aired. It was arranged that future meetings take the form of debates on subjects of interest to all workers, and that new members be made welcome.
