EXTRAORDINARY DIET
DEMONSTRATION OF NATIONAL UNITY TOKTO, September 30. (Received October 1, at 8 a.m). Tlio ‘ Kokumin Shimbun ’ said that the Elder Statesman advised Prince Konoye to convoke an extraordinary Diet in order to demonstrate to the world that Japan’s 100,000,000 wore unified behind Japan, Germany, and Italy. He added that the Government was starting soon a national movement to perfect the defences.
