AINGE SHIELD
At last night’s meeting of the Management Committee of the Otago Rugby Football Union, presided over by Mr D, C. Jolly, the secretary presented a report on the result of the competition for the Ainge Shield, which is awarded for the highest percentage in all grades. The shield was won by the Pirates Club, with 76.2 per cent., Kaikorai being runners-up with 65.4 per cent., and Southern (winners last year) third with 62 per cent.
