PIGEON RACING
The Dunedin Homing Pigeon Club flew its second Christchurch flock race on Saturday, 170 birds being liberated from 18 lofts in dull, overcast weather. They flew into heavy rain, and this slowed up their velocity. The winning bird flew the 200 miles in 7b lomin at a velocity of 818 yards per minute Result; —J. Scoullar’s Lovelace. 1, M.
