BOMBING- OF LE HAVRE. LONDON, September 27.—The R.A.F. homhed Le Havre for two and a-half hours. The docks were reduced to a mass of fires and wreckage. EXEMPTION FROM GENERAL ORDER. In a judgment delivered by Mr Justice Tyndall the Arbitration Court to-day granted the application b.f the Auckland Transport Board for exemption from the general order of 5 per cent, increase in wages to tho employees. The exemption was granted the hoard because of a bonus of 8 percent. having been granted by the Conciliation Commissioner (Mr Ritchie) prior to the issue by the Arbitration Court, of the general order.
