British reconnaissance and bombing flights over north Norway are being intensified. PROTEST BY BRITAIN CLEAR BREACH OF NEUTRALITY RUGBY, September 25. (Received September 26, at 12.45 p.m.) The British Minister at Helsingfors, Mr G. G. M. Vereker, has been instructed to protest strongly to the Finnish Government against its action in agreeing to allow German troops to pass through Finland on their way to northern Norway. This action constitutes a clear breach of neutrality and international law. THE MIDDLE EAST AIR ACTIVITY CONTINUES ITALIAN AERODROME BOMBED (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 25. (Received September 26, at 10.40 a.m.) A communique issued at Nairobi on Wednesday states that aircraft of the South African Air Force successfully raided Sciasciamanna aerodrome, in Abyssinia, for the third time in the past fortnight. Heavy bombs fell on the aerodrome, and one Italian aircraft on the ground was destroyed. Normal reconnaissances w'ere carried out by other aircraft. All the machines returned safely. ' Italian aircraft attempted two raids on Kenya on Monday—one at Wajir and one in the Tana River area. No damage was done, but there were a few casualties.
