(Received September 26 at 1.30 p.m.) Hitler received Senor Suner. BRITISH FREIGHTER'S SURVIVORS LANDED IN VENEZUELA NEW YORK, September 25. (Received September 26, at 2 p.m.) The survivors of a British freighter have been landed at Barranquilla, Venezuela. They reported that a German raider sank the ship off Trinidad on September 3, after which the Germans machine-gunned the lifeboats. The survivors drifted for a fortnight before they were picked up by a tanker.
