BIG EXPLOSION
AMERICAN TOWN SHAKEN ALL AVAILABLE FIRE-FIGHTERS SUMMONED Press Association—By Telegraph-Copyright CLAIRTON (Pennsylvania), September 25. (Received September 26, at 11.40 a.m.) An explosion occurred in the Pennsylvania Industrial Chemical Corporation. It shook the town of Clairton. The plant was engaged in manufacturing solvents for use by the Dupont concern. All available fire-fighters were summoned. FIRE UNDER CONTROL ■ CLAIRTON, September 25. (Received September 26, at 12.45 p.m.) Six employees were injured, The flames are now under control.
