WAR PENSIONS
CLAIM FOR INCREASE “ Among other claims for participation in the recent 5 per cent, increase in awards, those of the ex-servicemen in receipt of the war pension, it was considered, should not be overlooked,” was the intimation received by the Dunedin R.S.A. executive committee from the Dominion executive committee in a circular letter tabled last night at the monthly meeting. The question was raised as to what action, if any, was being taken by the N.Z.R.S.A., and it was reported' that the association had made application to the Government to _be included in any conference which might be called to discuss the matter. The president (Mr W. K. Cameron) was in the chair, Messrs W. F. Forrester. A. M'Hutchon, L. G. Hill, C. R. M'Lean, D. S. Chisholm, W. E. Earnshaw, G. H. Ferens, and J. M. White also being present.
