GERMAN MEASLES
MILD OUTBREAK AT BURNHAM [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, September 24. An outbreak of mild German measles has been .re’ported officially at Burnham mobilisation camp. A few cases have occurred among the Territorial units, but the majority of the cases, which do not exceed 20, have been reported in the district school for non*, commissioned officers. It it not anticipated that , the-infec-tion will cause a further suspension in the calling up of the Fourth Reinforcements of the Expeditionary Force, and it was stated to-day that mobilisation would proceed on October 2. It is not proposed to evacuate from camp so long as the requirement* can be met by the accommodation available. at the camp hospital.
