ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
EYE INJURY. Struck by a nail which flew up while he was repairing a fence yesterday, Overton Reed, a middle-aged man, who lives near Milton, suffered an eye injury. He was admitted to the Dunedin Hospital at 9.30 last* nightSTRUCK BY STONE. While climbing a bank with two other boys at Jubilee Park yesterday, Kevin Boyle, aged seven, was struck by a stone which had been dislodged, and was admitted to hospital in the afternoon suffering from head injuries. Ha resides iu Maclaggan street. CAUGHT IN SAW. A lacerated hand, caused when it wa* caught in a circular saw whilst cutting wood at Ramsay’s coal yard. Loyalty street, was suffered by Alfred Holley, a resident of 35 Nelson street. South Dunedin. He was admitted to hospital at 10.16 this morning.
