£IOO.OOO NEEDED NOW FOR OTAGO'S OWN REHABILITATION FUND: An Urgent Appeal If they knocked at your door to-night If some of our fighting men—a soldier, a sailor, an airman—knocked at your door to-night, WHAT A WELCOME YOU WOULD GIVE THEM. How you would stir the fire into a cheerful blaze and provide them with EVERY COMFORT AT YOUR COMMAND. Yet our brave men are relying on you to provide the necessary funds for rehabilitation purposes as the need arises. Even to-day the need is here, and grants are being made for this very purpose for men of the 2nd N.Z. Expeditionary Force and dependents. The need is here now. The numerous Queen Carnival activities provide the opportunity of building up this fund now, so that when our maimed, war-shattered fighting men need assistance, Otago will be ready. ' We who live in safety can do much for those who are protecting that safety by supporting all Queen Carnival activities, or by making straightout donations to R. D. Stewart, the Hon . Secretary, Otago Queen Carnival Executive, P.O. Box 84, Dunedin . No donation too large or too small . Otago won't fail this time because Otago's Fighting Men expect that Otago will do its duty Otago didn't fail last time because it knew the money was needed. the money is needed to an even greater extent.
