SALE TO BRITAIN EXPECTED WASHINGTON, September 19. The columnists, Messrs Pearson and Allen, say that President Roosevelt is expected to approve the sale to Britain of 30« freighters between 8,000 and 10,000 tons, which are tied up at Virginia. The cost will be 8,000,000d01. plus 5,000,000d0l for repairs.
