THREE TO FOUR THOUSAND MEN ABOARD

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 20. (Received September 21, at 10.5 a.m.) The German transport which was sunk by the Sturgeon off northern, Denmark on September 2 was hit in the deepening dusk during heavy weather at s,oooyds to 6,oooyds. The transport, which was due north of Oslo Fiord, was stated hy Swedish sources to have carried 3,000 to 4,000 men.
