SUCCESSFUL STARRING TEAM
Cary Grant and Irene Dunne, last seen together under Columbia’s banner as the co-stars in the successful comedy ‘ The Awful Truth,’ will be the starring team in ‘Penny Serenade,’ which is scheduled for early production. This will bo George Stevens’s first picture under his recently-signed producerdirector contract with the company. ‘ Penny Serenade,’ by Martha Cheavens, is a romantic marital drama. Morrie Ryskind is now at work on the screen play.
