THREE CHARGES OF THEFT
FEMALE EMPLOYEE OF BARRISTER [Pei: United Press Association.] AUCKLAND. September 19. On three cliurges of theft, allegedly involving a total of £1,296, Phyllis Olivo Harnett, aged 31, who appeared in the Police Court to-day, was committed for trial in the Sureme Court. Robert Urquhart, a barrister, said that from April last the accused had been keeping Ids trust accounts under bis supervision. As a result of something lie beard from the hank he accused Harnett of falsifying the books. Th.i accused said that things were wrong hut she was trying to put them right. The accused pleaded not guilty. Hail in two sureties of £2OO each was renewed.
