LA Hi FOB FLAX GROWING COMPENSATION COURT'S JUDGMENT i [Per United Press Association.] PALMERSTON N., September 17. The Compensation Court delivered a majority award to-day in the claim by F. S. Easton. of Foxton, for nearly £i20,000 for -1.565 acres of land near Foxton taken by the Crown for flax development research. The amount awarded was £62,385. [The area was taken by the Crown under the Public Works Act to be used for llax growing as supply for the wool pack and textile industry, Mr Justice, Smith presided at the sitting of tho Court with jNIt M. IT. Bon rite nnd jVIi W. R. Birnie as assessors.]
