TAIERI ANGLERS’ CLUB
ANNUAL SOCIAL The retiring president (Air J. Campbell) presided at the -annual social of the above club, held in the Fire Brigade Hall, at Mosgiel. Prior to the commencement of the programme, the Chairman referred to tho death, during the past season, of one of the club’s oldest members, Air J. Ritchie. The following toasts were honoured ; “ Otago Acclimatisation Society ” (Air Fountain and Air Barnes) ; “ Otago Anglers’ Association ” (Air G. M’Kay); “ Sister Sports ” (Mr S. APMillan). An enjoyable programme was given by Messrs Reid Scott (pianist and songs), J. Alntch (songs)AW. Johnstone (piano accordion), N. Stratton (bagpipes), B. Wilkins (songs and tricks), J. Wilson (humorous songs). The following office-bearers wore elected:—President, Air J). Stewart; senior vice-president, Air J. Anderson; junior vice-president, Air C.
