S.W. CHANGE COMING SCATTERED RAINS LIKELY The following weather forecast was' issued at noon by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, covering the southern districts:— Moderate to strong northerly to north-westerly winds, with a change to westerly or south-westerly advancing from the south this evening. Unsettled in the west and south, with intermittent rain, and scattered rain gradually extending to eastern districts; also ' temperatures becoming cooler. Seas ' moderate, but rising south of the Nuggets. AT OTHER CENTRES. The following information is abridged from the report issued by the Meteorological Office this morning:— Temp., Weather. deg. Auckland— Cloudy; slight south-south-west-erly 5S Wellington— ■ Overcast; gentle north-easterly 53 Christchurch— Blue sky and detached clouds; hazy ; gentle east-north-easterly. 51J Timaru— Cloudy; calm. 45 Oamaru — Overcast; gentle northerly. ■ 44 Greymouth— Overcast; slight easterly. 50 Nuggets— Overcast; gentle northerly. . 45 BluffOvercast; fresh north-north-west-erly. 45
