TOWN HALL DANCE
FUNDS FOR ARMY QUEEN The Town Hall Dance has been handed over to the Army Queen Committee by ite management for the duration of the Queen Carnival. The proceeds of the dance will be diverted towards supporting the Army queen, Ain’ni. Last Saturday's dance was an outstanding success, and a gratifying
sum was handed to the fund. This week a special programme has been arranged. Airini has consented to sing with the orchestra. Mat Delaney’s Radio Rhythmics. In addition, there will bo the usual vocalists, Miss Daphne Jordan and Mr Jimmy M'Farlane. Mr Arthur Macdonald has been requested,,,.to sing, and one guinea has been offered if he will sing ‘ Annie Laurie.’ There will be boxes of chocolates and novelty competitions. Spectators will be admitted for -a small charge.
