LINER SINKS OVER TUNNEL.—The Clyde-Mallory liner Algonquin as she rested on the bottom at pier 84 North River New York, directly atop the Holland Tunnel, after a fire in her aft holds. There was no danger to the tunnel. About 200 firemen fought the blaze for several hours.
