BUSHRANGER OF THE SKIES

Bony, a half-caste detective, is a creation of Mr Arthur Upfield, who has introduced him into a number of excellent Australian- novels. The latest story of the kind is ‘ Bushranger of the Skies,’ in which the bad man of the piece uses an aeroplane to bomb a policeman. Bony is put on the trail, and after a series of exciting adventures is successful with his case. Pull of local colour of the Australian “ outback,” and not without a moral (the latter drawn from a sympathetic _ picture. of the Australian aborigine), ‘ Bushranger of the Skies ’ is a clever original detective story, well, written, and brimful of adventure. The publishers are Messrs Angus and Robertson, Sydney and London.
