RECONCILIATION
Every chapel and church in South Wales has its knitting circle for comforts for soldiers. One Tommy was so pleased with the pullover ho had received that he sent to the despatch centre, inquiring the name _of tho “ pretty girl ” who had knitted it< Back the reply was sent;— “ Mrs , aged G 3 years.” It was his mother-in-law, to whom ho had not spoken for seven and a-bal£ years! Communications have since been restored.—‘ Answers,’ London.
