ANOTHER STOPPAGE
MACDONALD MINE DISPUTE - [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, September 11. The dispute w'hich occurred at th« MacDonald coal mine on Tuesday of last week, when 200 miners decided not to work until one man’s claim fop wet-time payment had been -deter* mined, was revived this morning* when, after working for an hour, tha men returned to their homes. No world will be done at the mine to-morrow. Last week the men were idle on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. They worked on Friday and again on! Monday and Tuesday of this week. I* ib understood that the men held « meeting this morning to receive a report from the Disputes Committee, and they subsequently, left the mine after working for only an hour. . The Northern Miuers’_ Union executive held a meeting to-night to discus* the situation, but it was announced that no finality had been reached. A 1 further meeting wi.th the men will taka place at the MacDonald mine to-mor-row afternoon.
