DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL. APPOINTMENT OF TAXI STAND, MORAY PLACE NORTH. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Dunedin City Council, at a meeting held on Monday, the 9th day of September, 1940, passed the following Resolution appointing a Taxi Stand on the southern side of Moray Place north, between Municipal Lane and Georg# street;— That the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves, pursuant to the provisions of Section 24- of By-law No. 18, that a stand for six motor passenger vehicles licensed to ply for hire be, and is hereby appointed, on the southern side of Moray Place north, between the intersection of Municipal Lana and George street, the cabs to face in a westerly direction generally and to stand one behind the other parallel and close to the kerb, the first car to take up a position at the intersection with Municipal Lane, and that the said stand be available for use only on occasions when entertainments, meetings, etc., are being held in the Main Town Hall.
