GRANGE CRICKET CLUB

ANNUAL REPORT The sixty-second annual report of the Grange Cricket Club refers to the successful season experienced last year, when the senior eleven won the championship and other teams performed creditably. The finances are described as being in a satisfactory condition. Regret is expressed at the loss by death of Mr R. G. Hudson, who had been a vice-president of the club for over 30 years. Several of the club’s members, states the report, have answered the call for service abroad, and wishes are expressed for their safe return. “It is the duty of the club,” the report adds, “ to endeavour to carry on while our boys are away, and this can only be done by the present members and officers rallying around the club and keeping the flag flying.” Thanks are expressed to the many officials and supporters of the club who had helped to make the season a success.
