RETURNED SOLDIERS ' AFFAIRS
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETS A meeting of the R.S.A. Executive Committee was held last night. The president (Mr W. K. Cameron) was in the chair, other members present being Messrs W. F. Forrester, A. M'Hutchon. L. G. Hill, O. R. M'Lean, D. S. Chisholm, J. M. White, (t. H. Fcrens, J. 08. Stewart, and J. M'Kuight. Eighteen new and one honorary nominations for membership were reported, also two inward transfers and three deaths. A donation of lOgs towards the funds for Christmas parcels for New Zealand soldiers overseas was approved. To investigate the question of obtaining a more satisfactory issue of next-of-kin platform tickets to soldiers leaving Dunedin finally after leave, a small committee was appointed. Members of the executive had been invited to inspect the R.N.Z.A.F. station at Taieri on Sunday next, it was reported, while the members’ luncheon would he held on Tuesday next, and the Roxburgh reunion on September 21.
