FOR NAVY QUEEN CARNIVAL

A special ladies’ meeting to set up a Ladies’ Committee in support of Miss Jessie M'Lennan, the Navy Queen, is being arranged in the Chamber of Commerce board' room, corner Dowling and High streets, for next Thursday at 3 p.m. This meeting is convened under, the auspices of the Navy League. Mrs J. Sutherland Ross is convener of the meeting. All those who have supported the Navy League work for sailors’ comforts, and representatives from the various women’s organisations particularly, and others interested, are invited to attend.
