COMMUNITY SING

ARMY DAY

Friday’s Community Sing will be Army Bay, when Airini, the Army queen, will be present, and will take part. Every effort is being made to riase £IOO,OOO (Otago’s effort), and the Community Sing Committee is giving its assistance, the proceeds to be given, the Army queen, A good programme or Army songs, old and new, will be sung. Mr H. P. Desmoulins will be the leader, with Mr Alf. Pettitt at the piano. Last week a fine collection of flowers were donated, and these found a ready sale. Mrs M‘lntyre, who is in charge, will be pleased to receive further supplies. Donations can be sent to Mr J. F. Hamburg, care of Begg’s.
