Kaiapoi, John, beloved husband of Catherine Dempster, loved father of Janet, John, and Bene, and only son of the late John Blair and Margaret Dempster, of Green, Island.—The Funeral will leave the residence of Mr Wm. Watson, Muir street, Green Island, on Sunday, the Ist October, at 2 p.m., for the Green Island Cemetery.—Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors. NEWPORT.—On 15th September, 1939, at Sydney, Arthur, beloved husband of Violet ( Newport (nee Violet Morrison, Opoho). September 29, 1959, at Dunedin, Arthur Wilfred, beloved husband of Nan Davidson Turner, 2 Islington street. North-east Valley, and Mines Department, Greymouth; aged 39 years. Deeply mourned. —Private cremation.—Hop© and Kinaston, funeral directors.
