TOWN HALL DANCE
On Saturday, the night of the return game, Otago v. Southland, the management of the Town Hall Dance will feature a special night. The record for an attendance at this dance is 1,500 dancers and 800 spectators, hut it is expected that this will he beaten on Saturday night. The music will be supplied by Dick Colvin’s Band of nine players, assisted by five vocalists. There will be hundreds of balloons, masks, paper hats, and novelties of all descriptions to be given away. The doors will be open at 7 o’clock, and early patrons can dance until 8. The new dance, “ Boomps-a-Daisy,” will again be featured. Particulars are advertised.
