GOWIE SHIELD FINAL The final shoot for the Cowie Shield was held at the Drill Hall, resulting in a win for Arthur Barnett’s No. 1 team with an aggregate score of 1,181 points. In conjunction with tho teams match an individual aggregate was conducted, andi this resulted in a tie between G. H. Smith (Dunedin No. 1), J. A. Cowie, and K. In the shoot-off, consisting of one sighter and four counting shots, all three secured the possible and went on to a shot-for-shot match, in which K. Miller was successful.
