BROODBENT. —On September 261 h, Grace, wife of Winston G. Broodbent, of Kaeo;' North Auckland. ’ GLOSS.—On September 26th, 1939, at Dunedin, Jane, beloved wife of the late James Gunning Gloss.—Private interment. No flowers, by request. HOLDEN.—On September 26, 1939 (suddenly), at his residence, 50 Maitland street, Oscar Louis, beloved second son of the lato Mr and Mrs L. K. Holden and loved brother of Lily and Robert Holden. Deeply mourned.—The Funeral will leave the residence to-morrow (Thursday), the 28th inst., at 10.30 a.m., for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—K. M’Lean and Son, funeral directors.
M'LAREN.—On September 26, 1939, at Dunedin, Alexander, dearly beloved husband of Lucy M’Laren, of Maungatua, and late of Baldwin street, N.E. Valley; in his fiftyseventh year. Deeply mourned.—The Funeral will leave our Chapel, 260 King Edward street, South Dunedin, To-morrow (Thursday), September 28, at 11 a.m., for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—Colo, and Son, funeral directors.
