ST. JAMES
An appealing story is told in ‘ My Bill,’ in which Kay Francis appears at the St. James. She has the role of a widow with four children, who has to in some way or other recoup the family fortunes. Three of the children are the sort one objects to on sight, but the youngest, Bill (Dickie Moore), is in a different class altogether. When their mother becomes innocently involved in a scandal the other three children desert her and go to stay with a nch aunt, but Bill sticks by her and is finally responsible for reuniting the family. ‘ Fighting Thoroughbreds,’ the second attraction, is a fine drama the story of which is based on the race track.
