ST. CLAIR LADIES' CLUB A flag match for trophies presented by Mrs J. H. Robertson and Mrs Loughran was played yesterday. The winners were:—A grade, Mrs If. Hunt (handicap 16), who placed the flag on the seventeenth green. B grade, Mrs A. Smellie (handicap 26), placing the flag about 50yds short of the eighteenth green. A match (bogey) will bo played to-morrow. Post entries will be accepted. The dates for the first qualifying round and second qualifying round. club championships have been altered to October 19 and 24 respectively. CHISHOLM PARK LADIES' CLUB The mid-week players held a sealed hole match for Mrs L. M. Wright’s trophy. The best cards were: Mrs A. C. Swanson 28, Mrs L. Woods 29, Miss Rhodes 30. Mrs L. M. Wright 31, Mrs Bristow 32, Mrs F. Megget 33, Miss Roberts 33. Mrs L. Woods reduced her handicap by six strokes, Mrs L. M. Wright by five strokes, Mrs Maclean by two strokes, and Mrs Swanson by one stroke. The best cards for Mrs H. Grant’s trophy were: Mrs L. Gore 19, Mrs Shepherd 19. Mrs Gorman 20. Mrs Holloway 20. Mrs A. Cormack 21. Mrs Turner 22, Mrs D. Sime 22. Mrs Shepherd won in the play-off.
