“SERVICE” WAS POOR
THE MAN IN CABIN 98 Just before war was declared the Aquitania, New York-bound, was two hours out of Southampton wdien a bathroom bell rang and an annoyed man complained that there was no hot ■water. The steward saw a hat and coat hanging on the door and asked the man his cabin number. He said it was 98, third class. There is no 98 in the third class. At Southampton, when the vessel returned to England, the man, Edward Azevitch, a 30-year-old Russian, was sent to gaol for a month for stowing away. He had been to America and back in the liner.
