LONDON, September 25.—The ‘ Daily Telegraph ’ quotes the radio Paris announcement that Swiss observers at Sehaffhanseu Saw a large number of foreign planes, apparently bombers, flying over German territory. German machines went up and met them .near Frieclrichshafen and joined in battle, but no crashes wore observed, though four explosions-wore heard in the vicinity of a Zeppelin hangar. [Friedrichshafen stand ou Lake Constance, near the Swiss border, and consists of two parts, Hbfen and Buchkorn. It has a harbour on tho lake built by Frederick 1., King of Wurtbemhorg. It is a tourist resort and has machine shops and-works for building Zeppelins.] EXTENSION OF SESSION INEVITABLE. The Government caucus spent two hours in consideration of Cabinet’s war finance proposals, and when the adjournment was made for lunch, Mr Fraser indicated that the discussion had been inconclusive and the caucus would meet again at 5.30 this afternoon.
