"HOSPITAL DAY"
FRIDAY'S COMMUNITY SING ✓ "" Friday will be “ Hospital Day ” for the community sing, when the proceeds will be used for procuring earphones for the patients in the Dunedin Hospital. Donations may be sent to the secretary at Begg’s. Because of the baveutry news broadcast, the sing will start at midday. Special items will be’ provided by nurses from the Hospital. The sino- will be held in the Strand Theatre = (by courtesy of the Fuller Theatre Corporation Ltd.). A good programme has been arranged, which wilf include the latest popular numbers, ‘ Boomps-a-Daisy ’ and 1 Boer Barrel Polka.’ Mr H. P. Desmoulins will be the leader, with Mr A. Pettitt at the piano. Flowers are very acceptable for the stall.
