Richard is an Airedale, Sam a black Cat. They Jive in Chester, and have been good friends for years. The other day Richard’s master noticed that the dog seemed to be biting the cat’s neck He did it very gently, and he kept on gnawing at one point for a long time. Later a needle was found on the floor, and examination showed that it had been buried in Sam’s flesh. Richard had drawn it out, performing an operation for his friend, and doing it, we may be sure, free of charge.
