ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS

“ T.F.” —The piece of shrub submitted is the scented Rosemary. This shrub should be grown in nil gardens. “ Grass Grub ” writes: “ Please advise mo how to rid my lawn of grass grubs.” You cannot do anything before next month, when the pests will be nearer the surface. First of all, rako the surface all over with a sharp tooth rake. Then dress the surface with pinepesto powder and wash it in with the hose. The powder must reach the grubs to kill them. After about 10 days dress the surface with sulphate of ammonia. This will promote growth.
