FOOTBALL IN WAR TIME
LONDON, September 21. (Received September 22, at 11.30 a.m The Football Association, after con sultatiou with the Home office, is giving the fullest support to friendly and competition matches in war time. The games will be confined to local and district groups on Saturdays and bank holidays.
ALL BLACK TRIALS
R. G. Mahony (Southland), who was selected to take part in the All (Black trial games at Wellington, has advised the New Zealand Rugby Union that he is not available.
