HOCKEY-ON-SKATES TO-NIGHT
The Wellington v. Otago hockey-on-skates match to-night, at the new Da Luxe Rink in Filluel street (opposite the Town Hall), is attracting much interest. Hockey on skates is tha world’s fastest game, and to-night’* representative teams should provide some interesting thrills. The session has been extended from 7.30 to 10.45, with a special concession to shoppers—admission, including skates, Is between 9 and 10.45. The hockey contest will be staged at 9.30. The Otago skating championships will commence tomorrow evening, when the first heat of the Graceful Skating Championship will be decided. Three big sessions will bo held on Saturday—morning, 10 to 12; afternoon 2.30 to 4.30; and evening 7.30 to 10.45. Instruction is available at all sessions. Telephone 10-692,
