ARREST OF GOEBBELS
ANNOUNCED BY SECRET STATION VIOLENT ATTACK OH HITLER REGIME PEOPLE URGED TO RISE IN REVOLT jPress Association —By Telegraph Copyright LONDON, September 21. The German Freedom Party’s radio station, again bitterly attacking the Hitler regime, declared that the Minister of Propaganda (Dr P. J- GpebJbels) has been arrested and put into close confinement. The radio added; “Hitler’s speech liraa one continuous lie. It is being Mid throughout Germany that a speech from Hitler is worse than a bad harvest. [You ■ Germans have; the power to sabotage his factories, destroy the harvest, and paralyse traffic. Every shell failing to explode is a shot in the heart at the hated enemy. Every ton of coal untnined is a blow to the regime. Every penny withdrawn from a savings bank will be missed, but. Hitler cannot deceive us. We cannot win the war with the blood of 80.000,000 Germans. Hitler has no other resources. Britain and France have invested only part of their revenue in the war, but Germany has spent-all her reserves in advance.” The broadcast was jammed out after B 0 minutes. _ The announcer also said that Hitler has no chance of uniting the German people behind him and will have to capitulate. “He hasn’t a chance. It is, therefore, better for the German people to rise and defeat him than let him be_ defeated by others and go down with, him.”
