JEWEL SHOP BURGLARIES
THREE YOUNG MEN REMANDED IMPRISONMENT OK FURTHER CHARGE [Per United Press Association.] PALMERSTON N., September 20. Kenneth Bennets (29), Allan Young (19), and George Doyle (21) were each sentenced to three months’ imprisonment for being found without lawful excuse on premises in Chaytor street on Sunday night. Bennets, on charges of theft of jewellery at Auckland, was remanded to appear there. Young and Doyle were also remanded on charges of receiving stolen goods from Bennets.
