Although the village is situated in the centre of France’s wino-produciug country, the Mayor of St. Emilimr states that he has not had to deal with one case of intoxication in 40 years. Solicitors in Britain to the number of 93 have been “ struck off the roll ” for misappropriating money etc., since 1934. As there are 24,000 solicitors on the roll, this figure is not high.
