(Special to rue ‘ Star.’] CHRISTCHURCH, September 19. Horses engaged at the Geraldine meeting, except those raced at Ashburton, provided most of tho interest to-day. The most impressive gallops were credited to the stableinates, Roy Bun and Skyrena. The former gave Cape Gabo and Studley Royal a start in a mile task, and finished in front in Imiu 44 ;i-ssee. Skyrena was a length in front of Jan Ridd at the end of half a mile in 49 4-ssee. Both will be ridden on Thursday by W. Ellis, who can claim a 71b allowance for each engagement. Half-miles were recorded by Nigclla and Complexion in 50 4-ssec, and Muriel and Pink Lad in 50 2-ssee. Doniulea heat Kilrohe over six furlongs in Imiu 17 2-ssec, the last four in 50 4-oseo. Flame Queen was in front of Fcrrib.y at tho end of six furlongs in Imiu 17 2-sscc, the last four in 01 .‘J-Osec. Parquet and Fascinator recorded Irain 18see, Wagner and The Samivviclimau covered seven furlongs ill linin .‘ll 2-sscc, Rabble and Spartan tailing Imin (Msec.
