ACCIDENTS IN LONDON
INCREASE DUE TO BLACKOUT CONDITIONS LONDON, September 18. (Received September 19, at 12.55 p.m.) The increase in the number of road accidents, due to the black-out conditions, is causing serious concern. During the first 10 days in London 38 people were killed and 975 were injured, compared with eight killed and 316 injured in the preceding 10 days.
