FRIDAY'S COMMUNITY SING

Another bright programme has been arranged for this week’s community sing, which will be held in the Strand l Theatre (by courtesy of the Fuller Theatre Corporation Ltd.), at 12.15 on Friday. Messrs W. G. Faulkner and J. A. M‘Caw, jun., will make their first appearance, and, will play several clarinet duets. The secretary, Mr J, F. Hamburg, will receive any reasonable offer for a rocking dog, which has been given by a Boy Scout. Goods and flowers may be sent to the stall, which is under the charge of Mrs MTntyre. “Cheerios” and donations will be received by the secretary at Begg's. The proceeds of the sing will be devoted .to the mayor’s relief of distress fund.
