London-New York Exchange Discrepancies Appreciable declines in transtasman leaders marked investment business this morning, holders of all front ran* issues cutting limits. Metals suffered again in the setback, losses of up to 2s failmg to bring a purchaser forward. Industrial values were readjusted. Dominion scrip retained strength, but business was slack. Although the dollar was held at 4.03 in London yesterday, the American valuation of sterling closed at the low level of 3.83.
