BIBLE LEAGUE
ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Evangelical Bible League was heldi in the Somerset Lounge last night. There was a large attendance, presided over by the Rev. Thomas Miller. The Chairman extended a welcome to all and detailed work the league hkd performed during the year. The ©lection of office-bearers resulted: —President, Rev. Thos. Miller; treasurer, Mr N. wood, Messrs J. Abernethy, S. Allen,' D. Beath, J. D. Brown, L. A. Brun* ton, G. Calder, L. Cook R. Ferguson, R. H. Gardiner, A. Duncan, G. Gow, D. Leslie, W. Ashton, F. Martin, M, A. Sneddon, F. Rawstrom, B. Richard* son, W. Ward, E. P. Wilkinson, S, Wood. ... Mr R. Roxburgh, acting presidents of the Evangelical Union of the Otago University, briefly outlined the aimsand objects of that body. At the conclusion of the business Mr H. R. Minn, lecturer in classics at th» University of Otago, gave & short ad* dress on the structure of the Scrip* tures. The Scriptures stood perfect in their integrity, and no matter what form of criticism came forward it could; not gainsay them. The speaker then proceeded to explain the different type* of literature in the Old and the New Testaments.
